You decide what AI apps may do with your videos. Set it once for the account, then change single videos where they differ. Every AgentTV surface follows the same setting. See Rights and access for how it is enforced.

Allow or block

In the console

Open Agent access. Set the account default, then give single videos their own setting.

With the API

PUT /v1/agent-access with a key that can make changes. Leave out video_ids to change the account default. Send video_ids to change up to 500 videos at once.
The first call changes nothing. It returns a preview of the change and a confirm_token. Send the same request with confirm_token to apply it. See API keys.

Set what answers may say

PATCH /v1/answer-settings, or ask the account MCP to change them:
  • answer_mode: written (the default) or quote_only, which answers only with the cited sentences, word for word.
  • answer_note: one line shown with every answer, for example “General information, not medical advice.”
  • blocked_topics: topics your library does not answer, up to 50. A question on one gets your blocked_topic_reply and no clip.

Where your videos appear

Discovery in the console, or POST /v1/discovery, turns AgentTV watch pages, the AgentTV apps in AI assistants, and search engine indexing on or off. See Choose where your videos appear. If your own pages carry the page block, you can leave search_engines off so search engines index your pages, not ours. For no AgentTV pages at all, ask for an unlisted account.

Remove a video

POST /v1/videos/{video_id}/actions with remove takes a video out of your library without deleting it. It leaves new answers and search at once. restore brings it back. Answers an AI app already gave elsewhere cannot be recalled.

Crawlers on your own site

AgentTV does not block or admit crawlers on your domain. Use your robots.txt, your CDN’s bot rules and your firewall for that. To count which AI crawlers fetch your video pages, send your CDN logs. See Measure usage.
